Pentair OMNIFilter RS12 Sediment Water Filter, Whole House Replacement Cartridge

The OMNIFilter RS12 cartridges are manufactured from a durable polypropylene string that is wound around a rigid polypropylene core. These premium string-wound cartridges are designed to reduce fine sediment, including sand, silt, rust, and scale particles, effectively keeping your water clean and protecting your appliances.

The RS12 cartridges are wound in a precise pattern around the core, providing a greater surface area. This results in a higher dirt loading capacity and greater efficiency compared to standard wound cartridges. These string-wound cartridges can withstand temperatures up to 165°F and accommodate flow rates between 7 and 10 GPM with minimal pressure drop.

The RS12 series cartridges are suitable for a wide variety of sediment filtration applications, including municipal and well water, as well as many industrial fluids. They pair best with Pentair OMNIFilter U24, U25, U30, OB1, and WH5 10" Standard Filter Systems, and can fit all 10" standard filter housings, replacing any 10" x 2.5" sediment filter cartridge.

With a capacity of 15,000 gallons, these cartridges should be replaced every 3 months or when you notice a drop in water pressure or water quality. By using the OMNIFilter RS12 cartridges, you can keep your water clean and protect your appliances from the harmful effects of fine sediment, including dirt, sand, silt, rust, and scale particles.
